From the center of Lake Placid, head north on Main Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with NY-86. Turn right onto NY-86 and continue for approximately 0.7 miles. You will pass the Lake Placid Center for the Arts on your right. After you pass the center, look for Bear Cub Road on your left. Turn left onto Bear Cub Road and walk straight for another 0.3 miles until you reach the entrance to Heaven Hill Trails at 470 Bear Cub Rd.

Starting from the Lake Placid Village, rent a bike and head north on Main Street. Continue for about 0.5 miles and then turn right onto NY-86. Cycle along NY-86 for approximately 0.7 miles until you see Bear Cub Road on your left. Turn left onto Bear Cub Road and bike straight for about 0.3 miles. Heaven Hill Trails will be on your right at 470 Bear Cub Rd.

From the Lake Placid Village, take the local bus service (check the schedule for timings). Board the bus towards Saranac Lake and request to be dropped off at the nearest stop to NY-86. Get off at the stop closest to NY-86 and Bear Cub Road. From there, walk south on NY-86 for about 0.1 miles, then turn left onto Bear Cub Road. Walk straight for another 0.3 miles to reach Heaven Hill Trails at 470 Bear Cub Rd.
