Bus
From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Transit Center located at 1 Larkin Center. Take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards New York City. The bus will take you through various stops in Yonkers before heading toward Manhattan. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the stop at Bowery & Houston St. Once you disembark, walk east on Houston Street for about 4 blocks until you reach Bowery. Turn left onto Bowery, and the Bowery Poetry Club will be on your right at 308 Bowery.

Train
From Yonkers, walk to the Yonkers Metro-North train station located at 5 Buena Vista Ave. Board the Hudson Line train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Grand Central Terminal station. Once there, follow the signs to the subway station within Grand Central and take the 4, 5, 6, or S train downtown to the 14th Street-Union Square station. Transfer to the L train towards Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway and get off at the 1st Avenue stop. From there, walk east on 1st Avenue to Houston St., then turn left and walk to Bowery. Turn left onto Bowery, and the Bowery Poetry Club will be at 308 Bowery.

From Yonkers, travel to the Yonkers Metro-North train station and take the Hudson Line train to Grand Central Terminal. Once there, take the 7 train from Grand Central to Times Square-42nd Street. At Times Square, transfer to the 1, 2, or 3 subway lines heading downtown. Get off at the 14th Street station. From there, transfer to the L train towards Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway and exit at the 1st Avenue stop. Walk east on 1st Avenue to Houston St., then turn left and walk to Bowery. Turn left onto Bowery, and you'll find the Bowery Poetry Club at 308 Bowery.
