From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North Station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street station in Manhattan. Once you arrive, head to the 125th Street subway station and transfer to the downtown 1 train (red line). Take the 1 train towards South Ferry and get off at the 86th Street station. From there, walk west on 86th Street until you reach Amsterdam Avenue, then turn right and walk north until you reach 83rd Street. Turn left on 83rd Street, and you will find the Children's Museum of Manhattan at 212 W 83rd St.

From the Yonkers waterfront, locate the nearest bus stop for the Bee-Line Bus service. Take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards the Bronx. Ride the bus until you reach the intersection of 42nd Street and Broadway in Manhattan. Here, transfer to the subway at the Times Square-42nd Street station. Take the downtown 1 train (red line) towards South Ferry. Get off at the 86th Street station. Walk west on 86th Street to Amsterdam Avenue, turn right, and then turn left onto 83rd Street. The Children's Museum of Manhattan will be on your left at 212 W 83rd St.
