Bus
From downtown Yonkers, walk to the Yonkers Public Library station. Catch the Bee-Line Bus #1 heading towards the Bronx. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the stop at E 116th St & 1st Ave. From there, transfer to the M116 bus towards the west and ride for another 10 minutes, getting off at the stop at 1st Ave & E 6th St. Walk south on 1st Ave for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Freeman Alley.

Train
Head to the Yonkers Metro-North train station and take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Harlem-125th St station. From there, exit the station and walk to the 125th St subway station. Take the 1 subway train downtown to the Christopher St station. After exiting the station, walk east on Christopher St until you reach 1st Ave, then walk north for about 6 minutes to find Freeman Alley.

Bicycle
If you're comfortable biking, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Yonkers. Start by heading down Warburton Ave towards the south, then turn right onto Main St. Continue on Main St until you reach the Yonkers waterfront. From there, follow the bike path along the Hudson River until you reach the city limits. Once you get to Manhattan, navigate to E Houston St and head east until you reach 1st Ave. Freeman Alley will be a short walk from there.

Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the Yonkers Riverfront Library and head south on Warburton Ave. Continue until you reach the intersection with Main St, then turn left. Walk along Main St until you reach the intersection with E 138th St. Turn right and continue walking until you cross into Manhattan. Once you’re in Manhattan, continue to walk east along E Houston St until you reach 1st Ave. Freeman Alley is just a short walk south on 1st Ave.
