    From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Bus Terminal. Take the Bee-Line Bus #7 towards 'Mount Vernon East.' Ride the bus for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the 'N Broadway & Main St' stop. Transfer to the Metro-North train at the Yonkers Station and take the Hudson Line towards Grand Central Terminal. After about 20 minutes, get off at Grand Central Terminal. From Grand Central, take the 4, 5, or 6 subway lines uptown to 86th Street. Once you exit the subway station, walk east on 86th Street towards Park Avenue, then turn right on Park Avenue and walk south until you reach East 79th Street. The Ukrainian Institute of America will be on your left at 2 E 79th St.

    From any location in Yonkers, make your way to the Yonkers Metro-North station. Purchase a ticket for the Hudson Line heading south towards Grand Central Terminal. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, follow the signs to the subway. Take the 4, 5, or 6 subway lines uptown to the 86th Street station. After exiting the subway, walk east on 86th Street until you reach Park Avenue. Turn right on Park Avenue and walk south to East 79th Street.
