From Yonkers station, take the Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street station in Manhattan. From there, transfer to the 2 or 3 subway line at 125th Street and take it downtown towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station. Transfer to the Q subway line and take it towards Coney Island. Get off at the Prospect Park station. Exit the station and walk towards Grand Army Plaza, which is about a 10-minute walk. From the Yonkers Public Library, walk to the nearest bus stop on Riverdale Avenue. Take the Westchester Bee-Line Bus #1 towards White Plains. Get off at the 4th Avenue & 42nd Street stop. From there, transfer to the MTA subway by taking the R train towards Bay Ridge-95th Street. Get off at the Prospect Park station. Exit and walk towards Grand Army Plaza, which is about a 10-minute walk. The Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch will be located at 20 Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn, NY 11238.
