From Bay of Plenty, head south on State Highway 2 (SH2) towards Wellington. After approximately 90 km, take the exit toward Masterton via State Highway 2. Continue on SH2 until you reach the town of Featherston. From Featherston, take the Greytown Road towards Cape Palliser, which will lead you to the Cape Palliser Road. Follow the Cape Palliser Road for about 30 minutes until you reach the lighthouse. There is a parking area near the lighthouse.

Once in Featherston, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Cape Palliser Lighthouse, as public transport options are limited.
