Getting There

  • Walking

    From the centre of Mount Victoria, head east on Alexander Road. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Dufferin Street. Turn left onto Dufferin Street and walk for about 300 meters until you reach the entrance to Mount Victoria Park. Enter the park and follow the signs to the lookout. The path will lead you uphill through the park. Continue on the path for about 1.2 kilometers, and you will see the Mount Victoria Radio Tower at 34 Lookout Road, Roseneath, Wellington, on your right.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch the bus from the nearest bus stop at the corner of Elizabeth Street and Pirie Street. Board the bus heading towards Roseneath. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Lookout Road stop, and from there, it is a short 10-minute walk uphill to the Mount Victoria Radio Tower.
