Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From the Christchurch city center, head to the Bus Interchange located at 37 Lichfield Street. Take the number 3 bus towards 'Ferrymead'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach the 'Ferrymead' stop, disembark the bus. From the bus stop, walk along Ferrymead Park Drive for about 10 minutes. Ferrymead Heritage Park will be on your left at 50 Ferrymead Park Drive.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike rental shops in the city center. Start your journey from the city center and head towards the eastern suburbs. Use the dedicated bike paths along Moorhouse Avenue and then take a right onto Ferry Road. Continue on Ferry Road until you reach the intersection with Ferrymead Park Drive. Turn left onto Ferrymead Park Drive and cycle for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Ferrymead Heritage Park.
