Bus
To reach Ferrymead Heritage Park, start at the Christchurch Bus Exchange located at 37 Lichfield Street. Take bus number 3 or 28 towards Sumner. Ride for about 20-25 minutes and get off at the Ferrymead Shops stop. From there, walk along Ferrymead Park Drive for approximately 10 minutes until you reach 50 Ferrymead Park Drive, where the park entrance is located.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops. Start from the Christchurch Botanic Gardens and head south along the Avon River. Follow the river path until you reach the Ferrymead Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Ferrymead Park Drive. The park is about a 30-minute bike ride from the Botanic Gardens.

If you are near the central city area, you can walk to Ferrymead Heritage Park. Start at Cathedral Square and head south on Colombo Street. Continue straight until you reach the Ferry Road intersection. Turn left onto Ferry Road, and then take a right onto Ferrymead Park Drive. The park is approximately a 1-hour walk from Cathedral Square.
