Getting There

Bus
From the Christchurch Central Bus Interchange, take the Metro bus number 3 towards Sumner. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Sumner Village' stop. From there, walk along the Esplanade, heading towards the beach. Cave Rock / Tuawera is located at 16 Esplanade. The walk is about 10 minutes along the waterfront, and you will see the distinctive rock formation as you approach.
