Bus
Start at the Christchurch Bus Interchange located at 37 Lichfield Street. Take the bus number 28 towards Halswell. Alight at the stop on Summit Road and Cashmere Road. From there, walk towards the Summit Road, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill to enjoy the stunning views.

Walking
If you are near the city center, head south on Manchester Street towards St. Asaph Street. Turn right onto St. Asaph Street and continue walking until you reach Colombo Street. Turn left onto Colombo Street and continue straight until you reach Cashmere Road. Follow Cashmere Road uphill, which leads you directly to Summit Road. The walk is approximately 40-50 minutes, so be prepared for a steep incline.

Bicycle
Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in the city center. Start from Cathedral Square and head south on Colombo Street. Follow it until you reach Cashmere Road. Once on Cashmere Road, cycle uphill towards Summit Road. This route is about 5 kilometers and will take around 30 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.

From the city center, take the Christchurch Tram and hop off at the 'Museum' stop. Once you get off, head south towards Rolleston Avenue and continue onto Cashmere Road. Walk up Cashmere Road until you reach Summit Road. This journey will take approximately 30 minutes on foot from the tram stop.
