From Dunedin city center, head to the bus stop on Moray Place. Catch the bus number 3 or 4 heading towards Mornington. The bus will take you along George Street. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the stop at Eglinton Road. Alight at the bus stop near the intersection with High Street. From the bus stop, walk south along Eglinton Road for approximately 200 meters. The Historic Cable Car Terminal Building will be on your right at 176 Eglinton Road.

If you are starting from the Octagon in Dunedin, walk west along George Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Moray Place. Turn left onto Moray Place and continue walking until you reach the bus stop on Moray Place. From there, you can catch the bus number 3 or 4 as described above. Alternatively, you can continue walking straight along George Street, then turn a right onto Eglinton Road and walk south for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the Historic Cable Car Terminal Building at 176 Eglinton Road.
