Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and listen for the stop at the Portobello Village. Once you get off, walk along Portobello Road until you reach the intersection with the Otago Peninsula. Follow the signs for The Tub, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

Follow the scenic pathways and keep walking until you reach The Tub, which is located along the coastline. This route is approximately 4 kilometers and will take around 1 hour to walk.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Dunedin. Start at the Octagon and head towards the harbor along the dedicated cycle paths. Follow the signs towards the Otago Peninsula.
