If you're traveling by car, start on State Highway 94 (SH94) towards Milford Sound. From Te Anau, the drive will take approximately 1 hour to reach the turnoff for the Hollyford Road. Turn left onto Hollyford Road and continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach the parking area at the end of the road, where there is a designated parking lot. From the parking area, Alice Falls is a short walk away, approximately 30 minutes on foot. Make sure to follow the signs indicating the trail to Alice Falls.

To reach Alice Falls using public transportation, take a bus from Te Anau to Milford Sound. Bus services are available daily, and you can check schedules with local operators. Once you arrive at Milford Sound, you will need to join a guided tour or arrange a shuttle to Hollyford Road. The shuttle will drop you off at the parking area. From there, it is a 30-minute walk along the marked trail to Alice Falls. Ensure to confirm the shuttle schedule in advance to coordinate your return trip.
