Walking

From the Gisborne i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 22 Grey Street, head south on Grey Street towards the intersection with Childers Road. Turn left onto Childers Road and walk for about 1 km. You will pass several shops and cafes, which are great for a quick stop. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Vogel Street. Turn right onto Vogel Street. Marina Park will be on your left after approximately 300 meters, located at 1 Vogel Street, Whataupoko.
Public Transport

From the Gisborne i-SITE Visitor Centre, you can catch a local bus that runs towards the Whataupoko area. Check the bus schedule for routes that head towards Vogel Street. Once on the bus, stay on until the Vogel Street stop. After disembarking, walk a short distance down Vogel Street towards the park, which will be on your left at 1 Vogel Street, Whataupoko.
Cycling

If you are renting a bicycle in Gisborne, start at the Gisborne i-SITE Visitor Centre, and head south on Grey Street. Turn left onto Childers Road, and continue cycling for about 1 km. Once you reach the intersection with Vogel Street, turn right. Continue cycling for approximately 300 meters, and Marina Park will be on your left at 1 Vogel Street, Whataupoko.
