If you are starting from the Gisborne City Centre, head east on Gladstone Road until you reach the intersection with Customhouse Street. Turn left onto Customhouse Street and continue straight. As you walk, you'll pass by the Tairawhiti Museum on your right. Keep walking until you reach the end of Customhouse Street, then turn right onto the Kaiti Beach Road. Continue along this road until you see Cook's Plaza on your left, situated near the beachfront in Kaiti.

From the Gisborne City Centre, you can hire a bicycle and ride towards Cook's Plaza. Start by heading east on Gladstone Road, then take a left onto Customhouse Street. Follow Customhouse Street, which will lead you to Kaiti Beach Road. After a short ride, Cook's Plaza will be on your left, right next to the beach.
