    From the Greymouth Visitor Centre at 32 Mawhera Quay, head west on Mawhera Quay towards the bridge. Cross the bridge over the Grey River onto the Cobden side. Once you are across the bridge, continue straight onto Cobden Road. Follow Cobden Road until you reach a junction with a roundabout. Take the first exit onto State Highway 6 (SH6) heading north. After about 500 meters, you'll see a sign for Cobden Cave on your left. Continue walking until you reach the entrance, which is located off the road. Make sure to wear sturdy footwear as the path can be muddy and slippery.

    From the Greymouth Bus Terminal, take the local bus that heads towards Cobden. Ask the driver to let you know when to get off for Cobden Cave. The bus will take you along State Highway 6. Once you get off, walk back towards the entrance of Cobden Cave, which should be on your left if you are facing the direction of the bus. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the cave entrance, so ensure you have a torch and wear appropriate footwear.
