From the center of Greymouth, head west on Mackay Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with High Street. Turn left onto High Street, then follow it until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Cobden Road. Continue along Cobden Road until you see the sign for Cobden. Once you reach Cobden, look for the entrance to Cobden Cave. The walk is approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

Start in the Greymouth town center and head west on Mackay Street. Follow the same route as walking, but this time you can take advantage of the bike lanes. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Cobden Road. Continue cycling straight until you get to Cobden. The bike ride will take around 15-20 minutes.

From the central bus stop in Greymouth, catch a local bus heading towards Cobden. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Cobden Cave. After getting off the bus, walk in the direction of Cobden and follow the signs to Cobden Cave. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
