    If you are starting from the Greymouth Visitor Centre at 32 Mawhera Quay, head east on Mawhera Quay towards the intersection with Guinness Street. Turn right onto Guinness Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Boundary Street. Turn left onto Boundary Street and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Albert Street. Turn right onto Albert Street and continue walking. At the end of Albert Street, you will see Dixon Park on your left. The park is a short walk from the main town area.

    For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Greymouth. Start at the Greymouth Visitor Centre and head east along Mawhera Quay. Continue past the Greymouth Railway Station and along the coastal path. When you reach the intersection with Guinness Street, turn right. Follow Guinness Street until it meets Boundary Street, then turn left. Continue until you reach Albert Street, turn right, and Dixon Park will be just ahead on your left.
