If you are starting from the Greymouth i-SITE Visitor Centre, exit the building and turn left onto Mackay Street. Walk straight along Mackay Street until you reach the intersection with High Street. Turn right onto High Street, and continue walking for about 500 meters. The Westland Recreation Centre will be on your left at 83 High Street.

If you are near the Grey District Council office, you can catch the local bus service that runs through the town. Board the bus heading towards the Greymouth Town Centre. Get off the bus at the stop closest to High Street. From there, walk down High Street for approximately 300 meters, and you will find the Westland Recreation Centre at 83 High Street on your right.
