If you're driving from Napier, head north on State Highway 2. Continue for approximately 87 kilometers until you reach Mōrere. The Morere Hot Springs is located directly off State Highway 2. Look for the sign for Morere Hot Springs which will direct you to the hot springs entrance. Make sure to check for parking spaces available on-site.

If you're coming from Hastings, take State Highway 50 towards Napier, then merge onto State Highway 2. Follow the highway heading north for about 60 kilometers until you see the signs for Mōrere. The hot springs will be located just off the highway. Follow the signs to find parking.

For those relying on public transportation, take a bus from Napier to Wairoa. The bus service (such as the InterCity or a local service) will drop you off in Wairoa. From Wairoa, you'll need to take a taxi to Morere Hot Springs, which is approximately 25 kilometers away. Be sure to confirm the taxi fare beforehand, as it may vary.
