Continue straight onto Beach Road. Follow Beach Road for about 2 kilometers while enjoying the ocean view. You'll pass the Kaikoura Peninsula Walkway on your left, which is a great detour if you have time. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with State Highway 1. Cross the highway carefully and continue along Beach Road for another 1 kilometer until you reach Ohau Point Lookout. The lookout will be on your right, and there are clear signs indicating the entrance.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kaikoura. Start at the Kaikoura Information Centre and ride southwest along West End. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Beach Road.
