    If you are starting from the Kaikoura i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 1 West End, Kaikoura 7300, head east on West End towards the Esplanade. Continue straight on the Esplanade for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Avoca Street. Turn left onto Avoca Street and walk for about 500 meters. Historic Chimney will be on your right at 62 Avoca Street, easily recognizable by its tall brick structure.

    From the Kaikoura Top 10 Holiday Park, head southeast on Beach Road towards the Esplanade. Walk along the Esplanade for about 1.5 kilometers. At the intersection with Avoca Street, turn left and continue walking for about 500 meters. Historic Chimney will be on your right at 62 Avoca Street.
