If you are starting from the Kaikoura town center, head south on West End towards the coast. Continue walking along the main street, and you will reach the Esplanade. Turn left onto the Esplanade and walk along the beachfront. Follow the coast until you see signs for Whaleway Station Road. Turn right onto Whaleway Station Road, and walk straight for about 15 minutes. Whale Watch Kaikoura will be on your left-hand side.

From the Kaikoura town center, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops. Head south on West End and then take the Esplanade route along the coast. Follow the signs for Whaleway Station Road. Once you turn onto Whaleway Station Road, it’s a quick ride, approximately 10 minutes, until you reach Whale Watch Kaikoura on your left.
