If you're driving from Blenheim, take State Highway 1 (SH1) northbound towards Picton. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit towards State Highway 6 (SH6) towards Nelson. Continue on SH6 until you reach Havelock. From Havelock, follow the signs to Pelorus Sound, and turn onto Pelorus Road. After about 15 minutes, you will arrive in Tiraora Bay. The sanctuary is located at the end of Tiraora Bay Road.
