    From Mount Cook Village, head north on State Highway 80 for about 40 km until you reach the junction with State Highway 6. Te Ao Marama, where the Glacier Base is located, is at 63 Cron Street. Look for the Glacier Guides building; it’s a prominent attraction in the area.

    From Mount Cook Village, you can take the InterCity bus service towards Franz Josef Glacier. The journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Franz Josef bus stop, you can walk to Te Ao Marama by heading west on State Highway 6. Turn left onto Cron Street, where you will find the Glacier Base at 63 Cron Street. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop, and you’ll see signs directing you to the Glacier Guides.
