From Whangarei, take State Highway 1 heading north. After approximately 50 km, turn left onto State Highway 10 towards Kerikeri. Continue on State Highway 10 for about 30 km until you reach the town of Kerikeri. From Kerikeri, head east on Kerikeri Inlet Road, which becomes Waimate North Road. After approximately 10 km, turn right onto Rawhiti Road and follow it until you reach Rawhiti. The Whangamumu Whaling/Sealing Station is located on the northeastern coast of the Rawhiti Peninsula. You can park at the designated area and take a short walk to the site.
