From the center of Paihia, head towards the Paihia Wharf, which is located along the waterfront. Once you reach the wharf, look for the ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Russell, which operates regularly, and enjoy the scenic ride across the bay. The ferry ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Russell, disembark and walk towards the main street, which is called York Street. Continue down York Street until you reach the intersection with Russell Road. Turn left onto Russell Road and follow it, which will eventually lead you to the Historic Pa, located on a hill with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The walk from the ferry terminal to Historic Pa is about 20 minutes.
