If you are driving from Tasman, start by taking State Highway 60 (SH60) towards Richmond. Continue on SH60 until you reach the intersection with State Highway 6 (SH6). Turn left onto SH6 towards Nelson. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit towards SH62/Pigeon Valley Road. Follow Pigeon Valley Road for about 5 kilometers, and you will find Higgins Heritage Park at 222 Pigeon Valley Road, Nelson 7096 on your right.

For those using public transportation, begin your journey by taking a bus from Tasman to Richmond. Use the Nelson City Bus service which operates routes to Nelson. Once in Richmond, transfer to the bus that heads to Nelson. After arriving in Nelson, take the bus towards Pigeon Valley. Once you reach the Pigeon Valley stop, walk approximately 1 kilometer along Pigeon Valley Road to reach Higgins Heritage Park, located at 222 Pigeon Valley Road.
