If you are in Nelson city center, start by walking towards Trafalgar Street. Head southwest until you reach the intersection with Hardy Street. Turn right onto Hardy Street and continue straight. After a few blocks, you will reach the intersection with Bridge Street. Cross Bridge Street and continue onto Rutherford Street. Follow Rutherford Street until you reach the junction with Tāhunanui Drive. Turn left onto Tāhunanui Drive and proceed until you see signs for Tāhunanui Beach. Nelson Fun Park is located just a short walk from the beach area, on your right.

Public Transport
From the Nelson city center, you can catch the Local Bus Service that goes towards Tāhunanui. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop on Trafalgar Street. Make sure to check the schedule for the bus times. The bus will take you along Tāhunanui Drive. Get off at the stop closest to Tāhunanui Beach. From there, it’s a short walk towards the beach; look for signage directing you to Nelson Fun Park, which is located nearby.

Cycling
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Nelson city center. Start by cycling down Trafalgar Street towards Hardy Street. Take a right onto Hardy Street, followed by another right onto Bridge Street. Continue straight until you reach Rutherford Street. Cycle along Rutherford Street until you reach Tāhunanui Drive. Turn left onto Tāhunanui Drive and follow the road towards the beach area. Nelson Fun Park will be located on your right as you approach the beach.
