Turn right onto Mount Aspiring Road and continue for approximately 3 km until you reach the Lake Hayes Estate area. Look for signs directing you to the Lake Hayes Walkway, which will be on your left.

    Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Wanaka, such as 'Wanaka Bike Tours'. Start from the shop and head towards the Wanaka Lakefront.
