Walking
From the Kelburn Village, head towards the Kelburn Park. Walk up the path leading to the Wellington Cable Car Station. Once at the station, you can take the cable car to the Kelburn terminal, which will take you to the top of the hill. The ticket for the cable car costs NZD 5.00 one way. After exiting the cable car, follow the signs to the Botanic Garden. Peace Flame is located within the gardens, approximately a 10-minute walk from the terminal. Head towards the direction of the Rose Garden, and you will find Peace Flame situated near the pond.

Walking
If you prefer to walk directly from the Kelburn Village, you can take the path that leads up through the Kelburn Park. Walk along the paved pathway that ascends towards the Botanic Garden entrance. Continue straight, and you will reach the Peace Flame within the gardens. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
