Walking
From the center of Mount Victoria, head towards the Southern Walkway entrance located near the Mount Victoria Lookout. Follow the signs for the Southern Walkway that leads you downhill towards Oriental Bay. The path is clearly marked and offers beautiful views of the Wellington landscape as you descend. Once you reach the bottom, you will arrive at Oriental Bay. From here, continue walking along the waterfront promenade until you reach McFarlane Street. Turn left onto McFarlane Street, and the Oriental Bay Lookout is located at 52 McFarlane Street.

Public Transport - Bus
If you prefer to use public transport, you can take a bus from Mount Victoria to Oriental Bay. Walk to the nearest bus stop on Kent Terrace and catch a bus heading towards the city center. Get off at the stop near the Wellington waterfront. From there, walk towards Oriental Bay. Follow the waterfront promenade until you see McFarlane Street. Turn left on McFarlane Street, and you will find the Oriental Bay Lookout at 52 McFarlane Street. Please check the local bus schedule for routes and fares, as costs may vary.
