Car
If you're driving from Greymouth, head north on State Highway 6 towards Hokitika. Continue on State Highway 6 until you reach the junction with State Highway 7 at Kumara Junction. Take State Highway 7, which will lead you to State Highway 1. Merge onto State Highway 1 and continue towards Whangarei. From Whangarei, follow the signs to State Highway 12 and drive towards Horeke. Once you reach Horeke, turn onto Motukiore Road. Mangungu Mission is located at 107 Motukiore Road, Horeke 0475. The total drive is approximately 5-6 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.

Take a bus from Greymouth or Hokitika to Whangarei. Once in Whangarei, you can catch a local bus or arrange for a taxi to take you to Horeke. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary, and it’s advisable to book your tickets beforehand. After arriving in Horeke, you will need to walk or arrange for a taxi to take you to Mangungu Mission located at 107 Motukiore Road.
