Getting There

    Start your journey by taking the CityLink bus from Whangarei city center. Look for the bus stop near the Whangarei i-SITE Visitor Information Centre on Bank Street. Board the bus heading towards Tutukaka. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you wish to get off at Tutukaka Village.

    Once you arrive at Tutukaka Village, disembark at the Tutukaka Village bus stop. From there, walk towards the Tutukaka Marina, which will be on your left. Continue along the road until you reach the intersection with the Tutukaka Head Road. Turn right onto Tutukaka Head Road and follow it as it winds towards the coast.

    Continue walking along Tutukaka Head Road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass some beautiful coastal views along the way. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the Tutukaka Lighthouse Walkway.
