To reach Taheke Waterfalls using public transportation, start at the Whangarei Bus Terminal. Take a bus towards Dargaville, and ask the driver to drop you at the Whareora Road intersection. Note that walking from the bus stop to the waterfalls will take about 1.5-2 hours, so plan accordingly. Ensure to check the bus schedules, as services may be limited.
