Start at the center of Boone, near the intersection of King Street and Howard Street. Head west on King Street toward Blowing Rock Road (US-321). Continue straight onto Blowing Rock Road for about 0.8 miles. When you reach the intersection with NC-105, turn left. After about 0.3 miles, turn right onto Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Way. Follow this road for approximately 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park, located at 285 Mountain Bike Way.

Begin your walk at the Appalachian State University campus. Head south on Rivers Street towards King Street. Continue on King Street and after about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Blowing Rock Road (US-321). Walk for around 0.8 miles, then take a left onto NC-105. In about 0.3 miles, turn right onto Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Way. The park will be approximately 0.5 miles ahead on the left at 285 Mountain Bike Way.

Take the AppalCart Green Line from the nearest stop to your location in Boone. The bus will take you towards the Blowing Rock Road area. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Blowing Rock Road and NC-105. From there, walk about 0.3 miles north on NC-105, then turn right onto Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Way. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles to reach Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park at 285 Mountain Bike Way.
