If you are driving from the center of Foothills, start by heading north on NC-18 N. Continue for approximately 10 miles until you reach the intersection with US-421 N. Merge onto US-421 N and drive for about 6 miles. Take the exit for Wilkesboro and continue on NC-268 W for about 5 miles. Turn right onto Reservoir Rd, and the W. Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir Visitor Assistance Center will be on your left at 499 Reservoir Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
