If you're traveling by car, start from Boone, NC. Head south on US-421 S for about 16 miles, then take a left onto NC-194 S. Continue on NC-194 S for approximately 8 miles until you reach the junction with the Blue Ridge Parkway. Turn right onto the Blue Ridge Parkway (MP 260.3) and drive for about 2 miles. Look for the Jumpinoff Rock parking area on the right side of the road. There is no fee to park here.
