Getting There

    From the Nantahala Outdoor Center, head northeast on US-19 N for about 18 miles. Turn left onto US-64 W and continue for approximately 8 miles. Then, turn right onto GA-75 N and follow it for about 5 miles. Turn left onto Shake Rag Rd, and after about 1.5 miles, you will arrive at Bell Mountain, located at 220 Shake Rag Rd, Hiawassee, GA 30546.

  • Public Transportation

    If you're using public transportation, take the local bus from Nantahala to Hiawassee. You'll need to transfer at the Hiawassee station. Once you arrive in Hiawassee, you can call a local taxi service or use a rideshare app to get to Bell Mountain at 220 Shake Rag Rd, which is about 4 miles from the bus station.

    If you are starting from Bryson City, drive southeast on US-19 for about 26 miles until you reach the junction with US-64. Turn left onto US-64 E and follow it for around 15 miles. Turn right onto GA-75 N and continue for approximately 5 miles. Finally, turn left onto Shake Rag Rd, and you will find Bell Mountain at 220 Shake Rag Rd, Hiawassee, GA 30546.
