Walking
From the center of Ålesund, start at the Town Park (Byparken) located at Parkgata 2. Head northeast toward the pedestrian street, Storgata. Continue along Storgata until you reach the junction with Kongens gate. Turn right onto Kongens gate and walk until you reach the bottom of the Aksla viewpoint. There you'll find the steps leading up to Aksla.

If you prefer taking public transport, catch the local bus from the Ålesund Bus Station (located near the Town Park). Look for bus number 601 or 602, which will take you to the Aksla area. Get off at the stop 'Aksla' and follow the signs that lead to the viewpoint. The walk from the bus stop to the viewpoint is short and well-marked.

For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Ålesund. Start at the waterfront promenade (Strandgata) and head up towards Aksla by following the bike paths. The route will take you past beautiful scenery and is a great way to reach the viewpoint. Once you reach the base of Aksla, park your bike and take the steps up to the viewpoint.
