From the center of Ålesund, start at the Town Park (Byparken) located at Parkgata 2. Head northeast toward the pedestrian street, Storgata. Continue along Storgata until you reach the junction with Kongens gate. Turn right onto Kongens gate and walk until you reach the bottom of the Aksla viewpoint. There you'll find the steps leading up to Aksla.

If you prefer taking public transport, catch the local bus from the Ålesund Bus Station (located near the Town Park). Look for bus number 601 or 602, which will take you to the Aksla area.
