Experience Fountains at City Hall Square

Getting There

  • Walking

    From Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), exit the station and head towards the main street, Karl Johans gate. Walk straight along Karl Johans gate for about 1 kilometer, passing the National Theatre and the Parliament (Stortinget) on your left. Once you reach the end of the street, you will see the Oslo City Hall (Rådhuset) on your right side. The Fountains at City Hall Square are located right in front of the City Hall, where you can enjoy the fountains and the beautiful view of the building.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you are near a tram stop, take tram line 12 or 19 towards Majorstuen or St. Hanshaugen. Get off at the stop called Rådhuset. Once you exit the tram, you will be right at the City Hall Square. The fountains are located directly in front of the City Hall, making it easy to access them.
