If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Interstate 84 (I-84). Take the exit for Cascade Locks (Exit 44). After exiting, you will be on Cascade Locks Highway. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to Viento State Park, which is located on the north side of the highway. The park's address is Cascade Locks, OR 97014. Parking is available at the park entrance, which may incur a day-use parking fee, typically around $5.

For those using public transportation, take the Columbia Gorge Express bus service from Portland or Hood River. The bus stops at Cascade Locks. Once you arrive at the Cascade Locks bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to the park entrance. Follow the signs for Cascade Locks Highway, and walk along the highway until you reach Viento State Park. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited.
