Getting There

Car
If you're driving, start by heading south on I-5 from any point in Columbia River Gorge. Take exit 62 for US-30 East, then merge onto US-30 E. Continue on US-30 E for about 20 miles. Merge onto OR-35 S and follow the signs to Hood River. As you approach Hood River, take the exit for I-84 E towards The Dalles. After about 5 miles, take exit 64 for Hood River Bridge/OR-35. Cross the Hood River Bridge, which has a toll fee of $2.00 for cars. Once across, follow signs for Hood River and turn left onto Portway Ave. Continue on Portway Ave until you reach Port Marina Park on your right.

If you're using public transportation, start by taking the Columbia Gorge Express bus from various locations in the Columbia River Gorge to Hood River. The bus operates daily and tickets cost approximately $8. Once you arrive at the Hood River stop, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Port Marina Park. The park is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, heading north on 1st St and turning right onto Portway Ave.
