Getting There

  If you are starting from Medford, Oregon, take Interstate 5 North and exit onto OR-62 East towards Crater Lake. Continue on OR-62 until you reach OR-230. Turn left onto OR-230 and follow it until you reach OR-138 East. Continue on OR-138 until you reach US-97 North. Follow US-97 to the junction with OR-31. Take OR-31 North until you reach US Forest Service Road 439. Follow this road until you reach Warner Mountain Lookout. Be aware that some parts of the road may be unpaved and require a high-clearance vehicle.

• Public Transportation + Car

  If you are using public transportation, first take a bus from Medford to Klamath Falls. From Klamath Falls, you can take a local bus to Lakeview. Once in Lakeview, you will need to rent a car or arrange for a taxi service to reach Warner Mountain Lookout. The drive from Lakeview to Warner Mountain Lookout will take approximately 45 minutes. Ensure that you have a good map or GPS, as some areas may not have cell service. The nearest car rental service is available in Klamath Falls.
