Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start your journey from Skardu city. Head southeast on the Skardu-Sheosar Road (N-15) for about 30 kilometers until you reach the Deosai National Park entrance. After entering the park, continue on the main road for approximately 20 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Blind Lake Shigar, which will be on your left. As you approach the lake, the road will become narrower and more rugged, so drive carefully. There are limited parking spaces available near the lake.

    To reach Blind Lake Shigar via public transportation, take a shared jeep from Skardu city to Deosai National Park.
