Car
If you are driving, start your journey from Skardu city. Head southeast on the Skardu-Sheosar Road (N-15) for about 30 kilometers until you reach the Deosai National Park entrance. After entering the park, continue on the main road for approximately 20 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Blind Lake Shigar, which will be on your left. As you approach the lake, the road will become narrower and more rugged, so drive carefully. There are limited parking spaces available near the lake.

Public Transportation
To reach Blind Lake Shigar via public transportation, take a shared jeep from Skardu city to Deosai National Park. The jeep ride will cost around 200-300 PKR per person and may take about 1-2 hours depending on road conditions. Inform the driver that you want to go to Blind Lake Shigar, and they will drop you off at the closest point. From there, you may need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the lake. The path is well-trodden but can be uneven, so wear suitable footwear.

If you are an adventurous traveler and already within Deosai National Park, you can hike to Blind Lake Shigar. Start from the nearest campsite or lodge and head towards the lake by following the trails that lead through beautiful meadows and rocky terrains. Depending on your starting point, the hike can take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours. Ensure you have a map or a local guide to help navigate the trails, as some paths may not be clearly marked.
