To reach Jarba Zhou Lake by car, start your journey from Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Begin by heading southeast on NH3 towards Kargil. After approximately 90 kilometers, look for signs pointing towards the village of Skuru. Turn onto the road leading to Skuru and continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the village. From Skuru, take the dirt road towards Jarba Zhou Lake, which is approximately 15 kilometers away. Be cautious as the road can be uneven and may require a 4x4 vehicle. Ensure to carry sufficient fuel, as fuel stations are scarce in this region.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a shared taxi or a local bus from Leh to Kargil. The journey will take about 4-5 hours. Once you arrive in Kargil, look for shared taxis heading towards Skuru. The fare for the taxi ride is approximately INR 300-500 per person. Upon reaching Skuru, you will need to hire a local vehicle or arrange for a guide to take you the remaining 15 kilometers to Jarba Zhou Lake. Local vehicles can be found at the village, and the cost may vary, so negotiate accordingly.
