If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Gilgit city. Head north on the Karakoram Highway (N-35) towards Hunza. After approximately 2-3 hours of driving, you will reach the town of Karimabad. From Karimabad, take the Ghulkin Road which is well-marked. Continue on this road for about 30 minutes until you arrive at Ghulkin village. Look for signs directing you to Ghulkin View Point / Pup Haji Cairns Rock, which is accessible by a short hike from the village.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Ghulkin by public transport, take a bus or a shared van from Gilgit to Karimabad. The fare is usually around PKR 300-500 and the journey takes approximately 2-3 hours. Once you reach Karimabad, you can hire a local taxi or a jeep to take you to Ghulkin village. The taxi fare for this part of the journey may range from PKR 1500-2500 depending on the negotiation. After reaching Ghulkin, you will need to hike a short distance to reach the viewpoint.
