    From the center of Gilgit, head towards the main bazaar area. Walk along the main street (Karimabad Road) until you reach the junction leading to the Hunza Valley. Follow the signs directing you to Hunza. Continue walking for about 10 kilometers until you reach the Aliabad area. Once in Aliabad, look for local signage that directs you to Altit Village. From Aliabad, take the footpath leading to Shahabad, which is approximately 2 kilometers away. Shepherd's Den is located within Shahabad, Village Altit, Tehsil Aliabad.

    From Gilgit, you can catch a minibus heading to Hunza from the Gilgit bus station. Ask the driver or conductor to drop you off at Aliabad. The bus ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Aliabad, ask locals for directions to Altit Village. It’s a short 2-kilometer walk from Aliabad to Shahabad, where Shepherd's Den is located.
