Getting There

Car
From any location in Hunza Valley, head towards the Karakoram Highway (KKH). If you are in Karimabad, take the KKH south towards Raikot Bridge. The drive takes approximately 2-3 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you reach Raikot Bridge, park your car in the designated parking area. Note that vehicles are not allowed beyond this point.

Jeep
At Raikot Bridge, you will need to hire a local jeep to take you to Fairy Meadows. The jeep ride takes about 1.5 to 2 hours and is quite an adventure as the road is rough and steep. The cost for this jeep ride can vary, but expect to pay around PKR 3000 to PKR 5000 depending on negotiation and the number of passengers. Make sure to confirm the return trip with the driver.

Trekking
Once you reach the jeep drop-off point, there is a short trek of about 2 to 3 kilometers to reach the actual Fairy Meadows campsite. This trek is relatively easy and takes about 30-60 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water. The trail is well-marked but can be slippery, so be cautious.
